This is anther project I attended to set up and held in Edinburgh Fringe Festival. All the logos ,Posters and concept/context of event are designed by myself. Here is the introduction of this Art event.

Contemporary Artists Competitive Week (CACW) is a brand-new event set up in Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2019. The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest open access Art festival in the world. It began in 1947 when eight theatre companies turned up, uninvited, alongside the acts performing in the first Edinburgh International Festival. Since then the Fringe has not only came into its own, but has become one of the biggest of Edinburgh’s twelve festivals.

We aim to assist more young artists who do not speak English are also able to present themselves and communicate with the world in Edinburgh. In this call, we are mainly looking for the native artists in the UK who cares about international connection and human common concerns to participate, to share, to enjoy.

CACW aims to provide an international platform of all kinds of art for young artists to show and speak freely, which includes six major competition sections:

  • Theatre

  • Music

  • Video

  • Fine Arts

  • Traditional Arts

  • Experimental Arts

CACW Award

Competition Week Review Committee - An international expert jury will award one or two artists/ company to commend their presence from each section.
